SUTTON VALENCE TUMBLERS HILL

House. Early C16 or earlier. Timber framed. Front elevation
clad with buff brick in Flemish bond. Plain tile roof. 1½ storeys.
Wall-plate of heavy scantling with splayed edge-halved scarf-joint.
Brick stack in front slope of roof to left end and near ridge
towards right end. C20 hipped three-light through dormer towards
right end. 4-pane casement in open box towards left end.
Segmental heads to ground floor windows. Ribbed door to left of
centre. Blocked central doorway. Interior not inspected.
