House. C15, late C16 or early C17 and C19. Timber framed. Front elevation
clad or rebuilt with small blocks of coursed painted stone. Plain tile roof.
Open hall of 2 timber-framed bays. with storeyed bay to right. Storeyed
left end bay rebuilt in C19. Single-bay late C16 or early C17 rear wing
towards centre. 2 storeys. Right gable end formerly jettied. Hipped roof.
Gable end stack to left and multiple brick ridge stack to junction between
hall and wing. Irregular fenestration of four 3-light leaded casements.
Segmental heads to ground floor windows. Ribbed door under second window
from left. Low lean-to to long left side of rear wing. Interior: moulded
and brattished end-of-hall beams, that to right with plank and muntin
partition under. Moulded central truss post and tie-beam, with deep arch
braces. Moulded axial beams to first-floor ceilings and rear wing. Newel
staircase to right of stack. 4-centred arched doorhead with roses to
spandrels between stair turret and rear wing.
