HOLLINGBOURNE BROAD STREET

Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Probably C16, with late C16 or early C17 alterations, restored
C20. Timber framed. Applied close-studding, tile-hung first floor.
Plain tile roof. 3 timber-framed bays, with single bay added to rear. 2
storeys. Continuous jetty, returning to left. Central rear stack. Projecting
brick stack to right gable and rear stack to wing. Irregular fenestration
of three 2-light leaded casements. Ribbed door in C19 lean-to to right
side of rear bay. Interior: exposed framing.
