Farmhouse.

GV II

Barn. Early-to-mid C17. Timber framed, weatherboarded, with plain
tile roof. 3 timber-framed bays, built at right-angles to road.
Hipped roof with gablets. Lean-to to each side and each gable end.
Boarded central porch with hipped plain-tile roof, rising from north
aisle. Interior: gunstock-jowled posts. Clasped purlin roof with
diminishing principal rafters and with vertical queen-struts to
collars. Edge-halved scarf joint to wall-plate. Tension braces to
original barn walls. Plastered daub infilling above midrail in one
place. Included for group value.
