GV II

Railings. Later C19. Spear-head railings with scrolling to top and
bottom, set on snecked ashlar plinth with chamfered coping. Plinth and
railings level to north side of gates, for distance of about 13 metres,
and stepped down hill away from gates to south for about 28 metres.
Pedestrian gateway in same style as railings, flanked by ashlar piers
with chamfered tops, about half way along south side. Similar pier
terminating north railings. Plinth and railings curved to chamfered
ashlar piers with ball finials flanking principal gateway. Double gates
in same style as railings, with scrolled and foliated cresting.
