GV II

House. C17, with later alterations. Ground floor red and grey
brick, first floor tile-hung. Exposed broadly-spaced studding with
plaster infilling to first floor to rear. Plain tile roof. Built at
right-angles to road. Approximately 4 timber-framed bays. 2 storeys
and attic on brick plinth. Steeply-pitched roof hipped to left
(north), half-hipped to right. Brick ridge stack to right of
centre. Irregular fenestration of 3 casements; two three-light and
central two-light. Half-glazed door in rear brick lean-to to left
of stack. Skylights incompatible. Interior not inspected. Formerly
known as Sharpe's Cottages.
