House. C17 or early C18. Timber framed. Ground floor of front
elevation red and grey brick in a mixed bond. First floor, gable ends
and rear weatherboarded. Plain tile roof. 2 timber-framed bays. 2
storeys. Gabled. Projecting brick gable-end stack towards front of
left gable end, and similar, later, stack to right. Irregular
fenestration of 2 two-light casements. Boarded door under lean-to
hood towards centre. Narrow brick lean-to towards rear of right gable
end. Interior: gunstock-jowled posts. Largely re-built clasped-
purlin roof with vertical queen struts to collars. Exposed cross and
axial beams and joists to ground floor. Fireplace with plain brick
jambs and wooden bressumer.
