Farmhouse, now house pair. C17, with later alterations. Timber framed.
Ground floor red and grey brick, first floor tile-hung, with an eaves
frieze of fishscale tiles. Left gable end weatherboarded on both floors.
Rear weatherboarded on ground floor, rendered above. Plain tile roof.
2 storeys and garret. Steeply pitched half-hipped roof. Projecting
red and grey brick stack to rear of left gable, and red and grey brick
stack to right of centre. Irregular fenestration of 3 casements; one
two-light towards each end and one three-light to left of centre. Half-
glazed door towards each end. Lean-to to right, with stack. Interior not
inspected. Formerly known as Gainhill Farm.
