A C17 house now sub-divided into two. 2 storeys and attics. Front red brick, sides
tile hung. Steeply pitched hipped-tiled roof with brick modillion cornice, the bricks
inserted diagonally, the points protruding. 2 hipped dormers. 7 casement windows,
most of them with small square leaded panes, the ground floor ones with cambered head
linings. Doorcase in moulded architrave surround with flat stone hood over supported
on carved brackets, and 6 panelled door. Stone plinth with flint galleting.

No 85 forms a group with "The Ship Hotel", High Street.
