Statue of William Harvey

William Harvey, the discoverer of the Circulation of the Blood was born in Folkestone.
The bronze statue was made by A B Joy in 1881. It is a full length figure in
Cl7 costume, set on a stone plinth. One hand symbolically touches his heart.
