2/88 Norwood Farmhouse

II

Farmhouse. C16 rear range, early C19 front range. Rear range timber-
framed, clad in C19 red brick in English bond. Front range chequered
red and grey brick. Plain tile roofs. Rear range of 2 timber-framed
bays, parallel to but slightly shorter than front range. Front range:
2 storeys with hipped roof. Rear stacks to left, centre and right.
Regular 3-window front of two 16-pane and central 12-pane recessed
glazing bar sashes. Ground-floor windows have splayed painted voussoirs.
Central panelled door with plain fanlight under trellised porch.
Interior: only partly inspected. Broad joists to rear left-hand
ground-floor room.
