Farmhouse, now house. Early-to-mid C17, with C18 addition. Restored mid
C20. Timber framed, with painted brick and rendered infilling. Plain tile
roof. 4 timber-framed bays of roughly equal length, subdivided into 2 rooms
of 2 bays each on ground floor. 2 storeys. Left gable end jettied.
Exposed framing to first floor; close-studding towards right; end, and to left
gable end, rest broadly-spaced studding with one tension brace. Hipped roof,
with gablet to left. Rear stack to right end bay. Irregular fenestration of
two C20 casements; one 2-light, one 3-light, both to right of door. Ribbed
door with flat bracketed hood to left end of third bay from left. C18
parallel rear range of red and grey brick in Flemish bond, with C20 fenestration.
Interior: exposed framing. Clasped purlin roof with diminishing principal
rafters, yokes, and windbraces.
