STOWTING COMMON

1/118 Cavalry Farm House

II

Farmhouse. C17. Timber framed, clad with red and grey brick in Flemish
bond. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys and cellar on flint plinth. Central
brick ridge stack. Irregular fenestration of two 3-light casements to each
floor. Blocked central doorway, now window. Short 2-storey addition to
left with half-hipped roof. Rear lean-to facing road, with boarded door.
Interior: only partly inspected. Exposed framing.
