School. 1844 and later C19. Flint and tile hung and extended with red brick.
Slated roof. Irregular plan. Four irregularly projecting sections, that to
left the assembly hall with 3 metal casements in gauged and keyed surrounds,
the centre window raised. Centre left entrance porch, with four centred
arched chamfered doorway, and corbel table of shields to hipped roof. To right
3 irregular gables, that at end right projecting, with irregular fenestration
of wooden casements. Stacks to centre left and right. Founded and built with
the church and vicarage nearby to civilise the newly formed Dunkirk Parish
after the 1838 Courtenay riots. Included for group value only.
