Almshouses or workhouse cottages, now cottages. C18 and restored late C20.
Timber framed and exposed with painted brick infill on painted brick
ground floor. Tile hung outer facades. Plain tiled roof. Ground plan
of 3 sides of square courtyard. Two storeys and hipped roof, with 3
stacks on each wing and 2 to central range. Regular fenestration of 6
horizontally sliding sashes on each floor of side wings, and 5 on first
floor and 3 on ground floor of central range. Three boarded doors to
each wing, 2 on central range.
