Stable block about
10 metres north of
Throwley House

GV II

Stable block, now accommodation. C17 remodelled early C19. Painted brick
in English bond. Slated roof. Two storeys and hipped roof. The front
is in 2 stages, that to right projecting slightly. Six glazing bar sashes
on first floor over the whole, 3 open elliptical arches on plain piers to
left on ground floor, 3 narrower semi-circular arches to right with gauged
heads, that to left with panelled door, the other 2 blank. Single storeyed
extension to right. Group value with Throwley House.
