Timber-framed house of the Cl6 or earlier with an C18 front. 2 storeys and attics
red brick. Tiled roof with 1 dormer and wooden eaves cornice. Brick stringcourse
which has been cemented on the south front above the ground floor. 3 windows
with Venetian shutters. C19 brick porch, but inside this is an obtusely pointed
C16 stone doorway with contemporary iron-studded wooden door. At the east end
of the house is a gable with hood-mould over. Inside are C16 ceiling beams and
an open fireplace with heavy wooden lintel. Also a cellar beneath the house.
