Description


The following building shall be added to the list

House. c.1830-40 altered late Cl9. Built of stock brick in Flemish bond
with hipped slate roof and 4 brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys 3 window.
Front elevation has end windows in slight projections. Guttering with
lions head masks. Unusual cambered sash windows in reveals with Gothic
glazing to top halves of sashes and marginal glazing to lower halves.
Right side has 1:3 sashes with similar glazing. Doorcase to left on
this elevation with original 5 panelled door with fretted design to 2
upper panels C20 flat stone hood on brackets above. Left side elevation
has 1 sash to same design in projection. House extended to rear in later
C19. Interior front left room has c.1830-40 wooden fireplace with pilasters
and this is a lobby off the main door with hinged double doors with the
same decorative features as the windows. Some 6 panelled doors remain.
