Dated 1849, Yellow brick with tiled roof. No 4 has red rubbed brick arches
flat over windows and semi-circular over door. No 5 plastered ditto. All
glazing bars intact. 4-panel doors. The rear of No 5 is mediaeval. Gas lamp
at corner of No 5 mounted upon modern wall bracket, of mid C19 date having
4 curved ogee braces, square plan lantern larger at the top than at the bottom
with anthemion foliage at each corner of the sloping roof, terminating in
a bell shaped vent having a scolloped cap and finial over.

Bartlemas and the complex of St Bartholomews Hospital form a group.
