4 houses probably of early C16 date with steep pitched roofs. The fronts date
from the early C19. No 4: 3 storey yellow brick with 4 box sashes complete
with glazing bars forming 12 squares each. Modern shop front. Tiled roof
and eaves gutter. No 6: 3 storey yellow brick with 2 red rubbed brick arches
over 2 box sash windows with glazing bars missing. Parapet. Modern strop front.
No 8: 3 storey yellow brick painted. 4 rubbed brick arches to 4 box sashes
with glazing bars forming 16 squares. Parapet. Late Victorian shop front
with deeply recessed door. 4 panes of glazing having segmental heads. Door
in one square.
No 10: 3 storey rendered front with parapet. 4 box sash windows with glazing
forming 4 squares each. Modern shop front.

Nos 4 to 24 (even) and the Milk Alley Flat with Nos 2 and 4 Potter Street form group.
