Red brick early C19 2 storey building with 3 windows 1st floor and 2 ground
floor, painted, plastered flat arches over ground floor windows. Modern imitation
shutters, glazing bars complete in windows of box sashes. Swept lead hood
on Gothick brackets and entablature. Iron balustrades and 3 stone steps lead
to front door with 2 bottom flush panels and 4 moulded upper panels, which
is all set between 45 1/2" recess in facade. Slate roof. The rear of this building
is probably early C17. Gas attached to No 15 lantern converted to electricity,
mid C19 date and mounted upon a modern wall bracket. surmounted lamp upon
4 curved ogee braces. Square plan lantern larger at top than at bottom with
anthemion foliage at each corner of the sloping roof, terminating in a bell
shaped vent having a scolloped cap and finial over.
