No 53 is dated 1847. A mid C19 terrace not uniform. 2 or 3 storeys yellow
brick.Stone coping. Nos 47-51 have mansarded slate roofs with 3 dormers
and dropped moulded eaves cornices, 1 or 2 sashes with most glazing bars
intact. Nos 31, 33 and 43 have lst floor 3-light bays. Ground floors have
mainly C19 shop fronts. No 53 has 3 bow fronts. Nos 47-5l have doorcases
with pilasters. Most doorcases are round-headed. Steps to street and area
railings.

Nos 1 to 53 (odd) form a group.
