about 20 metres
east of Knowlton
Court
GV II
Walled garden. C18 and mid C19. Red brick. Walls about 8 feet high with
heavy coping, and buttressed. Raised up along roadside (north wall) to
central gate piers, with infilled section between. Extends about 100 metres
by 100 metres. Interior contains C19 glasshouses, both of brick and glass,
and wooden frame and glass construction. Heavily overgrown gazebo or summer
house or similar in south east corner.
