Cottage row, former brewery buildings. Early C18 and mid C19. Painted
brick and plain tiled roofs, the left hand projecting wing is of painted
render. 2 storeys on plinth, with projecting hipped wings to left and
to right. Right hand section C18, with pilaster stips, plat band raised
over ground floor windows, and brick eaves cornice. Four segmental headed
sash windows on first floor and 3 on ground floor, and 2 doors in wing
re-entrant, both of 6 raised and fielded panels. Left hand section mid
Cl9 with large fascia-plat and corbelled cornice. Four segmental
headed sashes on first floor with keyed heads, and 2 tripartite sashes
on ground floor with half glazed panelled doors to left. Left hand wing
with quoins, glazing bar sashes, and 3 stacks. Interior: right end wing
and attached range, with moulded ceiling joists visible. Included for
group value.
