GV II

Granary, used as stables. Late C17. Red brick with plain tiled roof. Two
storeys on plinth with plat band. Shaped gables. Rib and stud loft door and 1
leaded segmentally headed wooden casement on ground floor,and rib and stud
door on left return. Interior; stabling and harness cupboard for 2 ponies.
Several bricks by the door in left return initialled; TB 1698, postdating the
structure. (see Country Life, August 11 & 18, 1960).
