House. C16. Timber framed with plaster infill underbuilt with painted
brick. Plain tiled roof. Two storeys and hipped roof with gablets to
left (returned wing) and large brick stack to rear right, and smaller stack
to centre forward of ridge-line. Two 3 light wooden casements on first
floor and central bay window and canted bay to right on ground floor with
rib and stud door to left. The house was left by the will of Robert
Wyborne (1709) to be the residence of the vicar of Preston.
