Tomb chest. Early C16. Moulded stone slab on low brick side walls, more a
raised tomb stone than a real chest. Said to be placed here according to
the will of William Forestall (d.1534) for people to sit on while awaiting
the arrival of the priest. (See church guide book). Included for group
value.
