North side

4/80 Bushy Ruff House and
10:3:75 Terrace

GV II

House. Mid C19. Stucco to brick and flint with slate roof (uncovered
at time of survey). Two storeys and basement with rusticated quoins
and parapet to hipped roof with stacks at end left and to centre right.
Six sashes with louvered shutters on first floor, and 4 french doors with
louvered shutters on ground floor. Door of 6 moulded panels to centre
left with sidelights,traceried rectangular fanlight in panelled and
pilastered architrave with pilaster and cornice doorcase. Trellised
verndah with tented roof along ground floor. Single storey C20 extension
to left. The house stands on a paved terrace and reached from right
return by flight of 10 moulded steps with low side walls and capped piers.
Two storey and basement canted bays on right return. Interior: gutted
following fire damage and being restored at time of survey. Structural
walls of red brick,part in English bond and flint, and simple lath and
plaster partitions.
