2/106 The Bell Inn
GV II
Public House. C18, extended mid C19. Flint and rubble with red brick
dressings, extended with rendered brick, with plain tiled roof. Two
storeys on plinth with moulded weathering, with flush brick stringcourse,
quoins and eaves, to roof hipped to right with stacks to left and clustered
and projecting, and tile hung, to right. Originally regular front with 2
glazing bar sashes on each floor, with segmental heads on ground floor,
and central half-glazed door with raking hood on brackets. Illegible
datestone to centre on first floor. Extended to left with glazing bar sash
on first floor, and large sash on ground floor. Catslide outshots to right
and to rear.
