Originally a timber framed house possibly c1500-1550, rebuilt in 1790s, with late C19 alterations and an early C20 extension. Converted into a hotel during late 1980s. Yellow brick with hipped slate roof. Parapet with moulded stone coping. Two storeys, five windows, sashes, those on ground floor set in round-arched recessed panels. Central columned porch with panelled door. Later extensions to rear.
