GV II

Gates with piers and flanking walls. Mid C19. Coursed rubble stone wall with
pitched parapet curving in from road to gates. 4 piers, the 2 inner topped
by 4 pointed gablets diagonally around circular posts, outer by shallow octa-
gonal cones. 2 side gates. Double wooden central gates with decorative hinges.
(]ross ribs below, arched openings above with curling ironwork infill. Included
for group value only.
