Birling Ham Mill
House. C17. Timber-framed. Wide galletted coursed rubblestone plinth topped by
12 courses of red brick. Exposed timber-frame with red brick in filling to
ground floor. Tile-hung 1st floor. Plain tiled roof, half-hipped to left with
sky-light to right. 2 storeys and attics; irregular 2-window front, C19 case-
ments. C20 boarded door to right. C20 extension to right, 1 storey and attic.
Some wind-bracing in plaster-infilled timber frame to rear. Extensions to rear.
