Millhouse, now house. C15, possibly earlier, with C19 wing and accretions.
Timber-framed with plaster infilling to front and painted brick elevations side
and rear. Plain tiled hipped roof with brick ridge stack to left and 3 flat-
headed dormers. 2 storeys; 5 window front, lattice casements: Central gabled
C20 porch with lattice glazing and central half lattice-glazed door. 2-storey
gabled addition to left with barge boards and 1 window on each floor. Catslide
extension to rear. Interior: evidence of substantial timber frame. Rafter roof,
with later side purlins, possibly of very early construction. No original
purlins or any trusses. Low buildings to the south, (not listed), are the
remains of the former Mill that gained its power from the East Malling stream.
