Farmhouse, now 2 cottages. Circa 1500 with C17 and C18 additions and
elevations. Painted brick on rendered plinth with plain tiled hipped roof, gablets, ridge stack to right, and end stack to right. Some framing exposed
under paint to left on 1st floor. 2 storeys; 2-window front, slightly
irregular, under segment-heads on ground floor, easements. Entrance to No
259 to rear at right, to No 257 in 1-storey wing to left, projecting towards road.
