Saxby headstone approximately 3 metres south east of the chancel of the Church of St Mary

Headstone. Dated 1789 in memory of Elizabeth Saxby. Sandstone. Upright slab standing approximately 1 metre high. Shaped head carved in low relief featuring a boy and girl reading books. Inscribed in Roman serif upper and lower case after Gothic lettering it records the death of Elizabeth Saxby in 1789 and her husband John in 1790.
