- west of Limes Farmhouse

Oasthouse. Probably mid/late C19, late C20 repairs to the oast. Painted
brick, the stowage on a ragstone rubble plinth; peg-tile roof.

Plan: Sited north west and above Limes Farmhouse (q.v.), the stowage block
facing north. Rectangular stowage block, the cylindrical oast adjoining at
the south east corner.

Exterior: The stowage block has a gabled roof, a C20 stable door in the
centre, the loft door above has been partly converted to a window. The left
(east) return has 2 2-light C19 or C20 small-pane casements, one first floor
similar window on the right (west) return. The oast has a C20 stable door
with a glazed overlight. The conical oast roof has been repaired following
storm damage. There are plans to replace the missing cowl.

Interior: Access to the interior unobtainable at time of survey (1988).

A small-scale unconverted oasthouse. Group value with Limes Farmhouse and
farmbuildings in the farmyard.
