A C16 timber-framed house of Wealden design with plaster infilling. 2
storeys. Recessed centre and 2 projecting crosswings, their 1st floors
overhanging on the protruding ends of the floor joists. Curved braces
on 1st floor. Steeply pitched tiled roof sloping to 1 storey at rear,
with massive brick stack. Some mullioned casement windows and traces of
original window openings. Simple doorcase. The rear elevation is tile-hung.

Forstal Farmhouse and Oasthouse form a group.
