One building. Timber-framed building, C16 or earlier refaced with brick now
painted. Two storeys and attics. Tiled roof hipped at the west end. One
hipped dormer. Moulded wooden eaves cornice. Four casement windows. Modern
shop windows, except No 10 which has a C18 shop window (not now used as such)
with its glazing bars intact. The building extends behind into 2 long parallel
wings in which the timber-framing with close-studding and plaster infilling
is exposed with oversailing at the gable ends. Contemporary paving of Bethersden
marble forms footpath in front and extending to south-east about 12 yards.
