Timber-framed building C16 or earlier refaced in the C18 with brick now painted.
Two storeys. Parapet with pediment in the centre. Hipped tiled roof. Four
casement windows. Two doorcases with flat hoods over, the east one having
a door of 6 fielded panels. Early C19 addition built out on the ground floor
in front of the west corner. One of the fireplace lintels has the date 1586
on it. Contemporary paving of Bethersden marble forms footpath in front and
extending to south-east about 12 yards.
