C18 fronts to C17 or earlier timber-framed range. Two storeys and attics
red brick, the ground floor painted. Tiled roof having 4 gabled dormers.
Wooden modillion eaves cornice: 9 sashes in all with glazing bars intact on
the 1st floor, and on the ground floor also of No 22, Nos 18, 20 and 26 have
small bays on the ground floor, No 24 has a modern shop window. Contemporary
paving of Bethersden marble forms footpath in front and extending to south-east
about 12 yards.
