One building. Rectangular building facing the churchyard on one side and the road on two sides. C18. The level of the ground is higher facing the churchyard, so that on this side the building has two storeys and attics and on the other side three storeys, three windows facing east and west, two windows facing north. Faced with weatherboarding grooved to imitate masonry. Hipped tiled roof. Moulded wooden eaves cornice. Glazing bars intact.

The east front facing the churchyard has two bays on ground and first floors and a doorway between with grooved pilasters, pediment, semi-circular fanlight and door of six moulded panels. The north front facing the village has a wooden gallery built up on the first floor, and approached from this, is a contemporary shop front (not now used as such) consisting of a curved shop window complete with glazing bars with a doorway on each side flanked by narrow pilasters with half-glazed doors and a projecting cornice above the whole. The west front facing Hastings Road has a long thin centre window which lights the staircase.
