This building was 2 separate parallel timber-framed ranges C16 or earlier
joined by an addition in the C18. Two storeys. Four windows facing north,
2 windows facing west. The west front of the west wing has exposed timber-
framing with plaster infilling, its ground floor close studded, its lst floor
oversailing on the protruding ends of the floor joists. Its north return
wall has been refaced with red brick. The east front of the east wing has
some plaster and some painted brick infilling and a red brick chimney breast.
Its north return wall is wholly plastered on the ground floor the 1st floor
weatherboarded and oversailing on the protruding ends of the floor joists.
The portion between on the north front is of red brick. Tiled roof in 2 hips.
Mostly casement windows, but 3 sash windows with their glazing bars intact.
