C14. Remains in stone rubble of the mediaeval boundary wall of the Archbishop's
Palace to the south of the cottages, the gatehouse, the farmhouse and the barn,
and continued at right angles on the east end of the barn and again at right
angles to the north. A wall exists on the west side but is much later in date.
At the junction of Pett Lane and High Street there is a reset mediaeval capital.
