4/14 Dane Street House

GV II

House. C18. Entrance front: red brick and plain tile roof. Two storeys
and attic on rendered plinth with stucco quoins to right. Bracket eaves
cornice to hipped roof. 2 hipped dormers and central stack. Irregular
fenestration of 2 glazing bar sashes with shutters and gauged heads on first
floor. On ground floor 1 two-light "Gothic" traceried window, 1 C20 3-light
window, and 1 glazing bar sash. C20 glazed door to left in flat roofed porch
with Ionic pilasters and columns. Red brick wing to left of 2 storeys and
attic, 2 hipped dormers and irregular fenestration of glazing bar sashes,
C19 plank door in gabled dormer at head of flight of steps. Right front:
channelled stucco; 2 storeys, hipped roof with 2 hipped dormers and stacks
left and right. Conservatory to ground floor.
