7/1 Village Hall

II

Tithe barn, now village hall. C15 and 1930's. Timber framed with
red brick infill and plinth and plain tile hipped roof, with
free-standing stack to right. 4 wooden mullioned lights of the
1930's, double plank doorway centre-right. To left 1930's
timber frame and red brick pentice and pavilion with open
arched arcading. To right 1930's timber frame and red brick
1 storey outshot and extension; plain tile roof, projecting end-
stack to right. 6 wooden mullioned windows, and plank door
centre-left. Interior: 4 aisled bays, cusped arch bracing
crown posts - but no collar purlin. C20 clasped purlin roof.
