(north side), Shottenden

3/47 Hares Farmhouse

GV II

Farmhouse. Circa 1600. Timber framed and clad in painted brick
and tile hanging to first floor. Plain tile roof. Two storeys
with hipped roof and stack to rear. Two wood casement windows
and central C19 half-glazed door with hipped hood on brackets
and cellar opening to right. Later brick wings to rear and right
return front.
