ranges attached,
about 20 metres
north of Bank
Farmhouse
GV II
Barn and stables. C15 barn with C18-C19 stable/outhouses. Timber framed
and clad with weather boarding on ragstone and brick base and ragstone,
with red brick gable wall to stable block. Plain tiled roofs. Hipped barn
with hipped midstrey centre left. Interior: 4 bays with aisles and terminal
outshots. Passing shores (some lost) to aisle posts. Crown post
roof, braced to collars and collar purlin, the western end rebuilt c.1700.
Ragstone stable range extending to right, 1 storey with half hipped roof
and 2 boarded doors. Stable range projecting to left. 1 storey and hipped
with weather boarded front with 2 boarded half-doors, and brick end and
rear elevations.
