House. C16 and clad C18. Timber framed and clad with red and blue
brick with plain tiled roof. Four framed bay lobby entry plan. Two
storeys on galletted ragstone plinth with brick eaves cornice to
hipped roof with gablets and stack to centre left. Two sashes with
vertical glazing bars with smaller glazing bar sash to right and blank
window space to centre left on 1st floor. Three wooden casements on
ground floor with segmental cornice-heads. Boarded door to centre
left. Catslide outshot and C20 extension rear. Interior: full frame
visible with stop-chamfered beams and evidence of close-studded
exterior walls. Renewed clasped purlin roof. Inglenooks with salt-
recesses, iron pot hooks, integral seating and bread oven. C18
straight flight stair with splat balusters on carved string. Doors
with raised and fielded panels and strap hinges.
