House and shop row. C18. Timber framed and weather boarded, the right
return wall of Street House of painted brick. Plain tiled roof. L-
shaped block. Two storeys with hipped roof and 2 stacks to each arm
of row. Seven window bays to The Street, 4 glazing bar sashes and 3
sashes with vertical glazing bars to right on 1st floor, and 2 casements,
3 sashes with vertical glazing bars and central projecting bay window
shop front with glazed door. Panelled doors to left and right with frieze
and cornice, and to centre with flat hood on brackets. Right return of
main range with sash with vertical glazing bars over sashed bay window.
Street House beyond with regular fenestration of 2 glazing bar sashes
on each floor in moulded surrounds and central 6 panelled door in moulded
surround with frieze and cornice. Weather boarded 2 storey C20 flat roofed
extension to rear. Street House fronts onto Warehouse Road, Orlestone,
and is cross-referenced under that address.
