of St. Matthew
GV II
Chest tomb and headstone. Tomb to Richard Foord, d.1818, and family.
Originally railed base with moulded plinth, raised and fielded side
panels with cut-out corners, ovolo-moulded incised piers and inscribed
top slab. Inclined against it the headstone to Mary Hodges, d.1709,
about 2 1/2 feet high, with incised panel, and segmental head on scrolled
shoulders with lily and skull and bones motifs.
